An die Regel, dass sich am heutigen Tag alle Blau kleiden sollen, hat sich fast jeder gehalten. An der Atmosph\u00e4re erkennt man, dass heute ein besonderer Tag ist, denn nach dem Aufstieg steht endlich wieder ein Bundesliga-Heimspiel an. Champions-League-Teilnehmer Union Berlin ist zu Gast, gegen das Darmstadt zu Hause noch nie einen Punkt abgeben musste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Der Fanmarsch, der eigentlich jede Saison mindestens einmal ansteht, beginnt und sofort sind die Ges\u00e4nge der Fans zu h\u00f6ren. Die gemeinsamen Aktionen der Fans sind nicht nur eine Abwechslung zur standardm\u00e4\u00dfigen Anreise mit der Bahn, sondern dr\u00fccken auch den enormen Zusammenhalt in der Fangemeinde aus, der beim SV Darmstadt 98 besonders gro\u00dfgeschrieben wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Das Spiel verliert die Mannschaft gegen die Berliner mit 1:4 und auch das Derby gegen Eintracht Frankfurt ging mit 0:1 verloren. Doch wer die Lilien schon l\u00e4nger verfolgt, wei\u00df, dass die Mannschaft am st\u00e4rksten ist, wenn sie von allen untersch\u00e4tzt wird. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen \u2013 Aush\u00e4ngeschild des deutschen Fu\u00dfballs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n F\u00fcr viele ist der FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen das Aush\u00e4ngeschild des deutschen Fu\u00dfballs. Am letzten Spieltag der vergangenen Saison wurden die M\u00fcnchner zu elften Mal in Folge und zum 33-mal in der Geschichte Deutscher Meister. Insgesamt hat der Verein derzeit rund 300.000 Mitglieder, auf Instagram 40,1 Millionen Follower und Millionen weitere Fans, die weder Mitglieder noch Follower in den sozialen Netzwerken sind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Und auch ich war bis zur zweiten Klasse \u201eFan\u201c des deutschen Rekordmeisters, da wahrscheinlich den meisten Kindern der Verein aufgrund seines Erfolgs und seiner bekannten Besetzung am meisten auff\u00e4llt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n W\u00e4hrend meiner Grundschulzeit gab es jedoch eine Wendung, die mich und meine Familie bis heute t\u00e4glich begleitet: Zusammen mit meinem Vater, der bis dato nicht wirklich etwas mit Fu\u00dfball am Hut hatte, besuchte ich 2012 erstmals das Stadion am B\u00f6llenfalltor in Darmstadt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Vermeintlicher Abstieg leitet neue \u00c4ra ein<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201eEines Tages ging ich ans B\u00f6lle, die Sonne schien, alle schrien f\u00fcr den SVD und seit diesem Tag am B\u00f6lle, wei\u00df ich, du bist mein Verein!\u201c Diese Zeilen werden mittlerweile bei jedem Spiel der Lilien zur Melodie von \u201eBella Ciao\u201c angestimmt. Und genau diese Zeilen sind es, die am besten beschreiben, was ich gef\u00fchlt habe, als ich zum ersten Mal das B\u00f6llenfalltor Stadion betrat. Vermutlich war es damals der besondere Charme des Stadions und des Vereins, der mich bis heute zu rund 195 Spielen der Lilien in ganz Deutschland trieb. Dabei gab es immer wieder Momente, die einen entweder mit Stolz erf\u00fcllen oder einem die Tr\u00e4nen in die Augen schie\u00dfen lassen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Seit dieser Saison spielen die Lilien unter Trainer Torsten Lieberknecht wieder in der ersten Bundesliga. Als ich anfing, regelm\u00e4\u00dfig mit Freunden und Familie ins Stadion zu gehen, stand der Verein allerdings ganz woanders: kurz vor dem Abstieg aus der 3. Liga. Damals waren es jedoch ausgerechnet die Rivalen von Kickers Offenbach, die durch einen Lizenzentzug den Gang in die Regionalliga antreten mussten und den Lilien ein weiteres Jahr in der dritth\u00f6chsten Spielklasse schenkten. Au\u00dferdem sollte mit dem Lizenzentzug der Kickers f\u00fcr die Lilien eine neue \u00c4ra beginnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Von der 3. Liga in die Bundesliga<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Die Saison 2013\/14 sollte f\u00fcr die 98er deutlich besser laufen, als viele nach dem eigentlichen Abstieg erahnen konnten. Dies lag damals unter anderem an Neuzugang Dominik Stroh-Engel, der abl\u00f6sefrei von Wehen Wiesbaden verpflichtet wurde und die erfolgreichste Zeit des Vereins einleitete. Mit 27 Toren aus 34 Spielen schoss er die Lilien in die Relegation gegen Arminia Bielefeld. F\u00fcr mich war es etwas Besonderes das Hinspiel am B\u00f6lle zu besuchen, jedoch wurde die Euphorie innerhalb von 90 Minuten zerst\u00f6rt, denn die Arminia gewann mit 3:1 und die Chance vom Aufstieg war praktisch dahin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Das Public Viewing des R\u00fcckspiels, welches drei Tage sp\u00e4ter am Karolinenplatz stattfand, war trotz der Niederlage im Hinspiel gut besucht und wird allen Besuchern f\u00fcr immer positiv in Erinnerung bleiben. Denn in der 123. Minute erzielte der Brasilianer Elton da Costa das Tor zum 4:2-Sieg f\u00fcr die Lilien, der gleichzeitig den \u00fcberraschenden Aufstieg in die 2. Bundesliga bedeutete. Der Kampfgeist und der Zusammenhalt im Team entschieden das Spiel und sind bis heute das Erfolgsrezept des Fu\u00dfballs in Darmstadt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Die darauffolgende Saison bedeutete erneut Gl\u00fccksgef\u00fchle, denn die Saison sollte erneut mit einem Happy End zu Ende gehen. Der Klassenerhalt war das feste Ziel des Vereins und der Fans, f\u00fcr die Mannschaft war dies allerdings nicht genug: Am 24. Mai 2015 war der FC St. Pauli zu Gast und jedem war bewusst, dass ein Sieg den Aufstieg in die Bundesliga bedeuten k\u00f6nnte. Neuzugang Tobias Kempe war es, der mit seinem Freisto\u00dftor zum 1:0 Endstand den Verein ins Oberhaus schoss und die ganze Stadt in Freude h\u00fcllte. Ein Jahr zuvor hie\u00dfen die Gegner noch VfR Aalen, Hallescher FC oder SpVgg Unterhaching. Jetzt waren es auf einmal die Stars des FC Bayern und von Borussia Dortmund, die nach Darmstadt reisten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Jonathan \u201eJohnny\u201c Heimes – Der stille Aufstiegsheld<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bis heute sind sich Verein und Fans sicher, dass vor allem der Aufstieg in die 2. Bundesliga besonders mit einem Menschen verbunden ist: Jonathan \u201eJohnny\u201c Heimes. Im Alter von 12 Jahren war er noch Jugend-Hessenmeister im Tennis, zwei Jahre sp\u00e4ter wurde ihm zu ersten Mal ein Hirntumor diagnostiziert. Trotz seines besonderen Kampfgeistes war es ihm zwar nicht mehr m\u00f6glich, Tennis zu spielen, allerdings besiegte er den Krebs, nachdem er zuvor zwei Wochen im Koma gelegen hatte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n F\u00fcnf Jahre sp\u00e4ter sollte es jedoch ganz anders kommen. Johnny erlitt einen R\u00fcckfall. Der Krebs kehrte zur\u00fcck und mit einer Querschnittsl\u00e4hmung sa\u00df er fortan im Rollstuhl. Aufgeben war f\u00fcr den ihn jedoch keine Alternative. Nach 21 Chemos war der Krebs zwar besiegt, kehrte aber erneut zur\u00fcck. Trotzdem k\u00e4mpfte er immer weiter und ist dadurch bis heute f\u00fcr viele ein Vorbild. Bei Heimspielen der Lilien verkaufte er fortan Armb\u00e4ndchen mit der Aufschrift \u201eDU MUSST K\u00c4MPFEN! Es ist noch nichts verloren\u201c und spendete den Erl\u00f6s an den F\u00f6rderverein der Kinderkrebsklinik am Frankfurter Uniklinikum. Bis 2014 sammelten Lilien-Fans auf Weihnachtsfeiern, Geburtstagen oder im Stadion 100.000 Euro Spenden f\u00fcr Johnny. Auch dies zeigte erneut den Zusammenhalt der Lilien-Fans, der mich seit meinem ersten Besuch im Stadion beeindruckt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nach der 1:3-Niederlage im Hinspiel der Aufstiegsrelegation gegen Arminia Bielefeld entschied sich Dirk Schuster, der damals als Trainer der Lilien aktiv war, dazu, einige der Motivations-Armb\u00e4ndchen bei Johnny abzuholen. Vor dem R\u00fcckspiel verteilte er die B\u00e4ndchen in der Kabine an die Mannschaft und erz\u00e4hlte ihnen die Geschichte des Jungen, der mehrmals den Krebs besiegen konnte. Nach dem 4:2-Sieg im R\u00fcckspiel wurde Johnny f\u00fcr seine Motivation von Spielern und Fans als Held gefeiert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Am 8. M\u00e4rz 2016 erlag der Fan, dessen Geschichte jeder Lilien-Fan kennt, im Alter von 26 Jahren seiner schweren Krankheit. Das darauffolgende Heimspiel gegen den FC Augsburg zeigte, dass Jonathan Heimes mit seiner Geschichte jedoch nicht nur die Fans des SV Darmstadt 98 ber\u00fchrte. Kurz vor der Schweigeminute zeigten die Fans der Lilien eine Choreo zu Ehren des Aufstiegshelden. Auch die Fans des FC Augsburg zeigten ein Spruchband, dass allein daf\u00fcr gedacht war, dem verstorbenen Johnny zu gedenken. Auch f\u00fcr mich im Stadion war es ein sehr trauriger Moment, jedoch erf\u00fcllte mich der Zusammenhalt unter den Fans mit Stolz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Jedem Dunkel folgt ein Licht<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Die sch\u00f6nsten Momente mit dem SV Darmstadt 98 sind bis heute die, die am meisten \u00fcberraschen. Nach dem Bundesliga-Aufstieg im Sommer 2015 holten die Lilien mit ihren Tugenden Kampfgeist und Teamf\u00e4higkeit f\u00fcnf Punkte aus den ersten vier Ligaspielen. Auch wenn die Spielweise nicht die sch\u00f6nste ist, sind es auch die Spielweise und die \u00fcberraschenden Momente, wegen derer ich seit \u00fcber zehn Jahren Fan der Lilien bin. F\u00fcnf Punkte aus den ersten Spielen und ein 2:2 Unentschieden im Dortmunder Signal-Iduna-Park sind allerdings nichts im Gegensatz zu einem Derbysieg gegen Eintracht Frankfurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Am 6. Dezember 2015 spielte Darmstadt am 15. Spieltag ausw\u00e4rts bei Eintracht Frankfurt. Kapit\u00e4n Aytac Sulu traf per Kopf zum entscheidenden 1:0-Sieg und lie\u00df die ganze Stadt feiern. Auch heute noch denken viele an den Tag zur\u00fcck. Mein pers\u00f6nliches Derby-Highlight ist allerdings der Derbysieg am 2. Spieltag der Saison 2015\/16 im Darmst\u00e4dter B\u00f6llenfalltor Stadion. Zum ersten Mal durfte ich ein Derby im Stadion ansehen, welches seinen H\u00f6hepunkt in der 90. Minute erreichte, als Sandro Sirigu den Ball \u201eversehentlich\u201c per Flanke zum 1:0-Sieg im Tor unterbrachte. Trotz des Sieges gegen den Rivalen ging es zum Saisonende nach zwei Jahren im Oberhaus zur\u00fcck in die 2. Bundesliga. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Nach f\u00fcnf Jahren in der 2. Bundesliga verpflichtete der Verein Torsten Lieberknecht als neuen Trainer, der f\u00fcr mich der bisher sympathischste Trainer der letzten Jahre ist. Bereits in seiner ersten Saison 2021\/22 f\u00fchrte er die Mannschaft in der Tabelle weit nach oben, bis am letzten Spieltag der Traum vom Aufstieg platzte. Trotz eines 3:0 Sieges der Lilien gegen Paderborn sicherte sich der Hamburger SV mit einem Sieg gegen Hansa Rostock den Relegationsplatz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Allen war bewusst, dass sowohl Fans als auch Verein zusammenhalten m\u00fcssen, um zusammen auf der alten Saison aufzubauen, um endlich den Aufstieg zu schaffen. Nach einigen durchschnittlichen Jahren in der 2. Bundesliga und dem knapp verpassten Aufstieg, machte die Saison 2022\/23 Lust auf mehr. 20 Spiele infolge nicht zu verlieren, wurde am Ende der Saison mit dem Aufstieg belohnt, der f\u00fcr mich unvergessen bleiben wird. Despite his special fighting spirit, he was no longer able to play tennis, but he beat the cancer after being in a coma for two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Five years later, however, things were to turn out quite differently. Johnny suffered a relapse. The cancer returned and a paraplegia confined him to a wheelchair. Giving up, however, was not an option for him. After 21 chemos, the cancer was beaten, but it returned again. Nevertheless, he continued to fight and is still a role model for many today. From then on, he sold wristbands with the inscription „YOU HAVE TO FIGHT! Nothing is lost yet“ and donated the proceeds to the support association of the children’s cancer clinic at Frankfurt University Hospital. By 2014, Lilien fans had collected 100,000 euros in donations for Johnny at Christmas parties, birthdays or in the stadium.
