Was sind Tr\u00e4ume, wenn nicht ein Durcheinander unserer Eindr\u00fccke, Gef\u00fchle, Gedanken und allem, was dazwischen liegt?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mein digitales Gem\u00e4lde ist eine Mischung aus den verschiedenen Bedeutungen des Wortes „Traum“: Dem Traum, wenn wir schlafen und dem Traum von dem, von dem wir uns w\u00fcnschen, er k\u00f6nnte wahr werden. Bevor ich zu malen anfing, fragte ich mich, welchen sehnlichen Wunsch ich h\u00e4tte. Das Leben in der Stadt l\u00e4sst manchmal einen grauen Geschmack zur\u00fcck und auch wenn es zum Gl\u00fcck fast \u00fcberall einen gr\u00fcnen Fleck gibt, vergisst man oft, sich die Zeit daf\u00fcr zu nehmen, die Natur zu bewundern und sie wertzusch\u00e4tzen. So erkannte ich nach dem langen Winter deutlicher als je zuvor, dass in mir die tiefe Sehnsucht nach einer Verbindung zur Natur gewachsen war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es ist eine untrennbare Verbindung, die durch den technischen Fortschritt st\u00fcckweise aus unserem Alltag gel\u00f6scht wird. Doch findet der Mensch schon seit Jahrzehnten verschiedene M\u00f6glichkeiten, die
Natur mit sich zu tragen – sei es die kleine Basilikumpflanze in der K\u00fcche oder durch japanische Tattoo-Kunst, in der haupts\u00e4chlich Naturmotive benutzt werden. In meinem Traum wird eine Frau von der Natur umarmt. Umgeben von so viel Leben und Farbe wird sie mit der Kunst auf ihrer Haut eins mit der Natur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are dreams if not a jumble of our impressions, feelings, thoughts, and everything in between? Thus, my painting is a mix of the various meanings of the word „dream“: The dream when we sleep and the dream of what we wish could come true. Before I started painting, I asked myself what earnest desire I might have. Life in the city sometimes leaves a gray taste behind, and even though, fortunately, there’s almost always a patch of green somewhere, we often forget to take the time to admire and appreciate nature. Thus, after the long winter, I realized more clearly than ever before that a deep longing for a connection to nature had grown within me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is an inseparable connection that is gradually erased from our daily lives by technological progress. Yet, for decades, humans have found various ways to carry nature with them – be it the small basil plant in the kitchen or through Japanese tattoo art, which primarily uses nature motifs. In my dream, a woman is embraced by nature. Surrounded by so much life and color, she becomes one with nature through the art on her skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
